Artist at Work

In 1997 I had this Bright Idea! I was finishing up my last year of high school when I decided I wanted to paint a mural in my bedroom. My parents were renting at the time and were adamantly against the notion, so I decided to paint my lightbulb assuming that it would create the same effect. Well nail polish, those fruity smelling markers, and a 100 watt bulb was a bad mix! 'Bad' being an understatement! But thats what gave me the idea. With some trial and error a little bit of time I came up with a method that worked. Then, before I knew it I was bringing so much light to so many lives that I quit my day job(tattoo artist), and took my show on the road! I started selling my Hand-Painted Lightbulbs at the boardwalk in Venice Beach, CA that same year. Shortly thereafter, I became introduced to the Arts & Craft Fair Scene, where I have exhibited my work for the past 7 years. I do all of the work myself, and so it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep up with the demand. Which is why I am trying to make the transition to wholesale distribution so that I will have more time to create!

Our Bulbs

I Start Out with Special Long-Life Bulbs that are Long-Lasting And Low Wattage. The Average Life is 3-5 Years(up to 7) with Regular Daily Use. I use a High-Temperature, Translucent Paint that I apply Completely Freehand with a Paintbrush. The Designs are my Own Original Designs that I can Reproduce Almost Exactly. And I also Paint Custom Design upon Request. The Combination of the Low Watts and the Special Paint Allows the Light to Pass Thruogh and Reflect upon the Walls or Shade Creating an Incredible Effect in the Room in which it is Used!

*  Our premium 25 watt bulbs will last about 2500 hours, 4 times longer than an average light bulb!

*  Great for nightlights, mood lighting, dorm rooms, kids' rooms, accent lighting, nurseries, etc.  

*  Will fit anywhere a regular light bulb fits including: ceiling fixtures, table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces, porch lights, etc.

*  Made with special paint that is heat resistant & non-toxic, so it will never fade, melt, burn, peel, or smell.

How to Use

*   Placed under a shade or white glass globe, the colors & designs can be seen shining through!

*   Use without a shade & reflect the colors & designs onto the walls & ceiling. Will light up the whole room if it is dark in the room!

*   When reflecting the design, best results are achieved on a white wall or ceiling!  Place the lamp close to the wall for a sharper image or further away for a larger image.  Remember that with the round design of the bulb being reflected onto a flat wall, distortion is normal.
